Summer Credit Retrieval 2008

SCR is a program available if a student has failed a required class in English, Math or Social Studies at FHS/CJHS. The student will have the opportunity to replace the failed credit with a grade of “P”. An application must be completed and returned to the counseling center. This is a grant-funded competency based program; regular classroom instruction will not be duplicated. The cost is $75 ($50 - reduced lunch, $25 – free lunch – pay the bookkeeper by June 19). Priority will be given to students on the basis of seniority and how closely they came to initially passing the class – 11th graders will be given first consideration.

The 10 sessions will be at FHS from 9:00-12:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays: June 19, 24, 26, July 1, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, and 24.

Students must attend all classes in order to earn credit. No exceptions.

ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED. APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED BASED ON ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND THE ORDER IN WHICH THEY ARE RECEIVED.

Contact the counselor if you have questions: John Sutich (A-K) or Lisa Hope (L-Z)
