Welcome to Fife High School

With over ninety years in the school business, Fife High has a strong tradition of educating youth in the Fife, Milton, and Edgewood communities.   The staff takes great pride in providing a safe and secure learning environment, while at the same time offering a wide array of exciting and challenging academic and extra-curricular programs.  They also spend a tremendous amount of effort building relationships with students so that the school atmosphere is positive and caring.  Thus, students benefit from this work knowing that they have a quality place to come to school each day to learn.

As a member of the Standard Bearer Network, the focus of the school is on teachers creating engaging work for students in the classroom.  We know that students come to school as volunteers; their attendance can be enforced but their attention and effort must be earned.  Therefore, the job of the educator is to become designers of work and experiences that are meaningful to students.  In the end, students that are engaged in the work are more likely to put forth their best efforts and receive the most benefit.
