The Hedden Drum Ensemble performed at

Discovery Primary School

Alice V Hedden Elementary School

The drummers traveled to fellow Fife School District school, Discovery Primary, to perform for an all-school assembly in the afternoon. This was our final traveling performance until next year's debut at the Puyallup Fair.

Mrs. Lewis' introduction already had the audience's attention.

Mr. Wheeler began by teaching the students about the different drums that we use in our group.

These future drummers could not keep the beat out of their hands! They will be more than ready in a few years.

One lucky Discovery student was chosen to try out the drum!


Our drummers have taken their skills to the next step. They are even composing their own songs that are performed with their small group.	Another original composition.... created in the parking lot while waiting for the bus!!!
Maya keeps the beat while the other performers demonstrate the Harvest Dance.	Chris loves this dance!
What a great audience!	They danced as if they had been doing this dance for years!
