Mr. Bob Belcher (retired) from Puget Sound Energy, came as part of the Hedden Fourth Grade Science Unit as a culminating event.   All of of fourth grade students were entralled, during two different, hour long presentations on electricity & electrical safety which included a huge model neighborhood with 120,000 volts running through it!  Mr. Belcher also gave the students activity books on electricty and neat pencils from Puget Sound Energy.   

This is Mr. Belcher's fifth time at Hedden and he commented, "I go to a lot of schools, and there really are differences.  The students at this school are really well-behaved and ask great questions."
