What do I need to wear for PE?
Students are required to change out of their school clothes. White, blue, grey, or Saber T-shirt or sweatshirt. Blue, grey or black shorts or sweatpants. Properly laced athletic shoes. NO SKATER SHOES.
Why does my student have a “B”?
As stated in the class syllabus, all students begin the semester with a “B.” The “extended learning project” (see question #4) is valued at 15% of the semester grade. Until it is completed, it will show up on grade checker as a missing assignment.
What does my student do if they are sick or injured?
Students bringing a note from home or the school nurse will still participate on a limited basis. Students will be expected to walk and stretch.
What is an “Extended learning project?”
Graph results of fitness test throughout semester. We are writing a one page, 12 font typed double spaced paper on summarizing and explaining their progress in strength and conditioning.
