Correcting Homework

Please check your homework carefully!

Remember when you are correcting, you are getting feedback on how well you are doing, and this feedback is an extremely important part of the learning process.  If you are getting the homework problems correct, you know that you are getting the concepts and skills. 

If you are getting some of the homework problems wrong, please take the time to problem solve what went wrong...was it a simple calculation error or are you confused about the process?

I would encourage you to try the problem again and show some persistence in solving it correctly.  Remember you can always refer to your notes or textbook for some tutorial help.  You could also call up a study buddy or ask your parents for help.  If you have tried some of these things and are still confused about a particular problem, please put a question mark by it so that we can talk about it in class the next day. Be prepared to share with me some of the things you tried to solve the problem.
